 The ASD has issued a Critical Alert on anyone that uses the Ingress-NGINX Controller,

Kubernetes maintainers have published an advisory detailing the following vulnerabilities in Ingress-NGINX Controller that could allow unauthenticated remote code execution and full cluster takeover https://github.com/kubernetes/ingress-nginx/releases/tag/controller-v1.12.1,
For our Clients and Sites we don't use Ingress-NGINX Controller or know of a site with it in.

Next.js Alert,
 The ASD has issued a Critical Alert on anyone that uses the Next.js on there sites due to a volubility in the software,

All self-hosted Next.js deployments should consider updating immediately
Next.js is a independent program like WordPress and Joomla, but it may also be in some websites back-end software depending on what packages are installed, if you have auto update on then your site should already have see these update,
For our clients and sites we don't use Next.js.

Office NBN Fibre Back online,
 Our office NBN fibre link is back online, We are still looking into it as all but 1 test stated the link was down, we have asked our provider to look into it as we had a red Fibre light, we did have to power cycle the NBN equipment and once done the link came back but for the type of equipment this should not have had to be done.

Microsoft Teams Warning,
 There looks to be a way a hacker can access computers by Microsoft Teams program (Known as a command-and-control), this a fault in all versions of Teams (But looks to be only the windows versions) that allows a hacker to send a chat request to a person and from that it allows the hacker to access your computer, but the big problem is being Microsoft Teams, Antivirus and Firewalls don't stop it and so, once they are in they have full access to your computer and possibly the hole network your on too,
MS states they are working on it, but to get around much of this problems it is suggested that you don't use teams at all (May be uninstall it if you can) but also the other way, don't use a windows machine on teams, you can have teams installed on almost any device or just log into the web version that is safer to use for now

Update 21-3-25 10:00: It looks like there has to be a program that has to be installed on the computer to be computerised first, so this to be a low priority problem to MS for now, there is one person that has showed how this could happen with a video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqZIm6vP7XM.

 Our office NBN link is back online, work went better then planed,
Next outage we hope to be months later, when there is a complete reconfigure of the server rack, this will require a longer outage but we will list when here at a later date.

 Our office NBN will be off line on the 15th Mar between the Hours of 1500 to 1600 for some server room work, we hope the outage will only be for a short time.

 Our office links are down again, there was a few problems that upstream needs to fix and then the link should come back.

 Our office links is up, tho only IPv4 for now, we are looking into why IPv6 is still down.

 Our office links are down, we are switching to the fibre.

Office NBN Upgrade,
 Our office will be switching to the fibre from about 8am on 28th Feb 2025(But think it might not start till about 0830, we hope to be down for a short time but this could be longer, we can not give a exact time or how long but will update here when all is happening.

 Fiber is online, Our fiber is up and connected, but we will have to move some services accross to it before the office is live on it, this should happen tomorow from about 8am

 Surprise, NBN just turned up 11:30, I told him the problem and they was going to call for a new tech call out as there job was just to install the fibre, after they found the pit had no NBN connections and the next was the place they then tried to rod it and could not get down to the next pit, so all went in the air 13:00, The office has a NBN connection that is not yet ported to the ISP, so now have to wait for NBN to port it for us, once this is done our office may be down for up to 1hr when we move across to the new connection as we are moving IP across connections too, we will state when here ASAP.

 Well today didn't go as planed, he couldn't get the cable from the pit to the poll and so he put it in the too hard bin, now we have to wait for another install, tho he did the splice box and NBN indoor unit, he was on site for less then 1hr and 1/2 the time talking to his friends.

 We have heard from someone claiming to be NBN and stating they will be here On the Tuesday as all is still planed and looks to be a complete install to.

Zeller EFT 4G Back Online,
 Still no update from provider, but we saw the connections starting to come back, All Our ones are back and customers should be too.

 Nothing yet back from zeller but on our side looking into it it looks to be a firewall problem at zeller as there Optus Cards connect to the network but not to zeller, we also tried Telstra and it worked fine.

 While we was on the phone about todays issue we also asked about the ZDK one as we have heard nothing back, the only update is they are looking into it.

 We are seeing a issue on Zeller EFT terminals that are on 4G, if you can switch to wifi to get working for now.

Office NBN Upgrade,
 We have been given the date 18th Feb 2025 between 8am and 12 pm for the first visit, we will update here if any problems but also have it on our main site all the steps and any issues we had / have in the upgrade.

 We have taken the dive and have applied to upgrade the office to FTTP, it is because of these techs will keep braking the FTTN and state its not there fault thu they was in there messing around, We will update here when we know more about time and dates on the switch, but to note there will be a outage during the switch due to the Fixed IP settings that need to move across to the new service.

 Our internet is unstable and I am waiting for them to stop touching the lines.

 We know what has caused the problem, A NBN FTTN Tech is messing around with the lines in the area, after a talking to him he was told to only touch the line he is meant to be on as he took down my line, he has reconnected the joint he touched and now the NBN is coming back.

Zeller EFT ZDK Error,
 We are seeing on some Zeller EFT there is coming up a "ZDK init failed (Timeout)" we have reported this upstream, but to keep going just click on the message and it should keep going to a working EFT.

NBN Latency Issues,
 For some reason we are seeing some latency issues on NBN links with POI in Albury (This includes our office too), It has been reported upstream and they see the same issues too and so are reporting to NBN, its only 4ms jump but its up and down by that much over the 24hr and at the core lever, we don't think we will see a report about it.

Outage Reported,
 Uptime Robot has reported a few times today of a outage to the hosting server, we have looked at this and think its on there side as other items on the server are working fine by them, we will monitor if there is a problem on our side but all is working fine from our end.

Power Outage Albury Back Online,
 Essential Energy had reported about 6000 had no power till now, waiting on a update on the cause.

 We heard of a large power outage in parts of Albury.

NBN Outage Albury Update,
 We heard from one of our customers and they said they have had a power outage from 01:00 and power came back on at 03:20, then at about 06:00 there internet just stopped working then came back at 08:10.

 NBN has reported there was a problem but on update on what, but ISP's have seen a route change when things came online, from what we can see it looks like a routing problem at NBN, but the fix also set off reconnection's to all NBN's in a larger area.

 NBN still has no report of a outage but ISP's have stated there was one and so ISP's started to try and reset connections on there end, many are reconnecting.

 There is still an outage but we also see many 4G backup's not working, the temp fix is to remove the phone line from NBN to the modem for now, this will force a 4G Connection.

 Some have come back online, Telstra has reported "Service restored: 1:48 am".

 We see some of our customers in Albury with 4G through Telstra has lost connection.

 We know the reasons but we can not tell it here, there was NO Breach, it was software side.

 Due to a issue we have found on the Accounts system, we have had to take it off line for now, should be back within a hour
